Can a property management company charge a tenant for a copy of the CC&Rs?
We own an office that is in a business park governed by a property management company. We are getting ready to put it on the market and need the CC&Rs to give to the new tenant. We contacted the property management company and they said it’s a $25 fee for a copy of the CC&Rs. Is this even legal? Aren’t we entitled as the tenants and payors to the prop. management company to freely view our CC&Rs?
In many states, it is legal. Courthouse would charge you .50 a page
