What if the property company broke the promise?
We paid $70 applicaiton fee for an apartment and got approved. But since our current lease has not ended, we have to find some one to sublease. However, during the time, the property company said they have given the apartment to someone else. In this case, can we ask the $70 application fee back?
No, you can’t. You applied.
Unless you signeed a lease and gave a deposit they were free to rent to someone else.
