If we are to interview an IT Executive, what type of questions that we should ask ?

We want to recruit a new IT Executive to manage our network, which is running a online property management system, i just need to know what type of questions that i should ask from him, as this is my first interviewing process.

Ask him / her the technical questions about network management and general questions (aptitude, attitude, why he / she thinks your company is a great place to work with etc.)
